Hi SaddleClubers, it's been months since we haven't updated the website.
Here is finally some news about our Keenan this time. Our beautiful princess wrote an essay for a book entitled "Frowing Up African in Australia, edited by Maxine Beneba Clarke. Her essay is called "The Horse in the Room". As you probably guessed, she is talking about her Saddle Club time in Australia. She also posted two pictures of her back to the saddle club era with some shocking captions.
Keenan stunt double was in fact a white person! The saddle club crew dressed her as a black girl. Then Keenan convinced them to do most of her own stunts. We couldn't agree more with her attitude! This is inappropriate and racist. We're happy Keenan was already a black rights fighter at 11 years old. It's so sad that nowadays, segregation in several forms still exist after all. Well done Keen! We love you!
