Sophie Bennett

Sophie Maude Bennett was born February 6th 1989 in Toronto (Canada). She is an actress, singer, dancer, producer and director. She is best known for playing Stevie Lake in the Australian series The Saddle Club. In 2000, she moved to Australia. The Saddle Club adventure lasted until 2004. Sophie also made herself a place in the singing industry. She sang with The Saddle Club cast, and in 2003, signed with Sock Records. She also made a duo with Kia Luby, called Sophie and Kia. In 2007, she graduated from Vaughan Road Academy and then studied Media, Theory and Production at the Universiy of Western (Ontario, Canada). Sophie also made two appearances in Goosebumps in 1996, played in Salem Witch Trial and Code Name: Eternity and many more movies and TV shows. Sophie has two brothers (Zachary and Gareth) and a sister, Marion. Zachary is an actor, Gareth a director and Marion also an actress. Today, Sophie lives in Toronto with her boyfriend Zachary who is a professional contractor and they have a cat. She owns a YouTube channel where she posts a lot of advises related to fashion and beauty. She is also a big fan of the sitcom Friends. She is 1,69 m tall.

Keenan Macwilliam

Keenan Macwilliam was born in Ottawa, Ontario (Canada) December 26th 1989. She has a lot of occupations in the industry: actress, singer, writer, dancer, producer, fashion designer, graphic designer, associate producer, director and Art director. Keenan started taking singing lessons at seven years old and sang in the Ottawa Children’s Choir for two years. She also played guitar and was taking guitar lessons too. Keenan’s brother’s name is Liam. In 2000, Keenan left Canada for a while and came to Australia to play Carole Hanson in the TV show The Saddle Club for four years. She started her career at the age of six years old while playing in a movie ad in Nashville (US). She also played in Must Be Santa, Get a Clue and more. In 2014, Keenan made a mini-series with Honey and Doll Productions called Unpaid and was one of the main characters. In 2018, she directed Hawa’s new music video I’m Safe

Lara Jean Marshall

Lara Jean Marshall is an Australian actress, singer and dancer born July 30th 1988 in London (England). At seven years old, she started acting on stage by playing in Charlotte’s web by Kidz for Kidz Production. Then in Babes in Toyland and also had the chance to play Young Eponine in Les Misérables in Melbourne. In 2000, until 2004, she played the character of Lisa Atwood in the Saddle Club and made an appearance in Waiting at the Royal. She also developed her singing career with The Saddle Club and made a lot of solo songs in their albums. After the show ended, she grew up in Mount Eliza and graduated Toorak College in 2006. A year later, she completed at a foundation course in musical theater at the Victorian College of the Arts and the, came to the Sydney Theater School in 2008. Then, she came at the Victorian College of the Arts again and earned a Bachelor of Dramatic Art degree. In 2012, she attended Ward Acting Studio in Melbourne and played in 2013 on an episode of The Doctor Blake Mysteries. Lara now lives in Los Angeles (USA) where she films We Were Tomorrow, a new TV show with her Saddle Club co-star Nikolai Nikolaeff and she loves spending her free time with her friends.

Heli Simpson

Heli Simpson was born in Melbourne (Victoria, Australia) February 21st 1987. She is an actress, singer, dancer, equestrian and comedian. Her father is English and her mother Estonian. She also has two brothers. Her first role was Veronica Angelo in the Australian series The Saddle Club. She started her singing career with this show and aired her solo album Princess Veronica. She graduated from Lauriston Girls School in 2005 and attended the National Science Olympiad in Canberra. She has also been selected in the Australian team for the International Biology Olympiad in Beijing and won a bronze medal. She archived the maximum percentile ranking of 99,95 for her Victorian Certificate of Education studies. She received a MMBS degree at the University of Melbourne. Heli is now a doctor at Mercy Hospital for Women in Melbourne. She is an extreme smart woman. During her spare time, she is a member of the comedy Boss Octopus. She also loves to ride and owns her horse Woody

Kia Luby

Kia Emily Luby is an actress, singer and marketing manager born 27th March 1989 in Melbourne (Australia). She is best known for playing Kristi Cavanaugh in The Saddle Club season one and two and co-producting and directing the third season in 2009. She also appeared in Blue Heelers, Molly and Underbelly Files: Chopper in 2018. Kia is also a model who poses for photoshoots and do a lot of sport.

Glenn Meldrum

Glenn Meldrum is an Australian actor, born October 8 1986 in Melbourne. His best role was Phil Marsten in The Saddle Club. He also played Clayton in the Wog Boy and Todd Gilmore in Blue Heelers. He was an English teacher at Heidelberg International School in Germany. He moved to Canada and is now a photographer, reservation agent, driver and dog walker

Brett Tucker

Brett Alan Tucker is an Australian actor and singer born May 21st 1972 in Melbourne (Australia). He is the son of Ken and Janice Tucker and has three siblings: Nicky, Mark and David. He is best known for playing in The Saddle Club, McLeod’s Daughters and Neighbors. He attended National Theater in Melbourne. In 2006, he played in The Woman in Black and in The Great Gatsby in 1997. From 1999 to 2000, he played Daniel Fitzgerald in Neighbors and made after some little appearances until 2007. When he came to United States, he appeared in some episodes of CSI: NY, CSI: Crimes Scene Investigation, Castle, Rizzoli & Isles, NCIS, Off The Map, Criminal Behavior and Mistresses.

Nathan Phillips

Nathan Peter Thomas Phillips was born January 16th 1980 and is an Australian actor. He is best known for playing Red O’Malley ion the first season of The Saddle Club. He also played in Wolf Creek, The Bridge, Hunters, and many more. He lives now in Los Angeles (United States)

James O’Dea

James O’Dea is an actor born August 5th 1989 who played in Blue Heelers, Legacy of the Silver Shadows and played Red O’Malley in the second season of The Saddle Club in 2003.

Cathy Godbold

Catherine Malia Godbold was born September 23rd 1974 and was an Australian actress. She was best known for her character of Deborah Hale Regnery in The Saddle Club and Meg Bowman in Home and Away. She was the daughter of the broadcaster Rosemary Margan and Norman Godbold. Her step-father was Ross Mitchell. She played in many movies and TV shows such as Blonde, Blue Heelers, Neighbors, Frontline and many more. She portrayed her mother in The King: the story of Graham Kennedy. In 2007, she was diagnosed with brain cancer. She has the tumor removed and followed a chemotherapy. In January 2018, she had a second brain tumor, a terminal one. She died May 4th 2018 at the age of 43. Her funeral was on 10 May 2018 and she was buried with her mother at Springvale Botanical Cemetery

Catherine Wilkin

Catherine Wilin was born 22 August 1945 in England an is an English actor who worked in New Zealand and Australia. She played Kate McGrath in Cop Shop in 1981. In November of this year, she had a motorcycle accident that killed her partner and co-star Bill Stalker. She suffered a fractured hip and leg injuries. She married Peter McCauley. She played in Blue Heelers, McLeod’s Daughters and The Saddle Club as Mrs Reg. She also acted on stage in The Importance of Being Earnest and many more.

Nikolai Nikolaeff

Nikolai Nikolaeff was born 26th December 1981 in Melbourne (Australia). He is an actor who is best known for his roles in Sea Patrol, Power Rangers Jungle Fury and Daredevil. He started playing at the age of twelve years old, then came to the Victorian Youth Theater and attended Caulfield Grammar School. At sixteen years old, he played in Crash Zone. He took an Arts degree at Monash University in Caulfield. At the age of twenty-two, he played Drew Regnery in the Children’s television series The Saddle Club. He played recently in the movie Mile 22 and is currently filming We Were Tomorrow with his Saddle Club co-star Lara Jean Marshall. Nikolai is married and also has a brother and a nephew

Janelle Corlass-Brown

Janelle Corlass-Brown was born on October 5th 1989 in Melbourne (Australia). She played Ashley Taylor in The Saddle Club from 2000 to 2004. She also appeared in Kick in 2007. She is a dancer since the age of three years old. She is also interested in architecture. Now, Janelle doesn’t act anymore but she is graduated from Australian Catholic University and from “La Trobe” University. She is now a psychologist in Melbourne.

Marisa Siketa

Marisa Siketa was born on November 7th 1990 in Geelong (Australia) and is an actress, disc jockey, animal ambassador and traffic manager. She has two older siblings, Clinton and Nicole. She has some Croatian origins and speaks Croatian fluently. In 1998, she attended Screen Actors Australia and came to the Geelong studios on weekends. She appeared on Sea Change and Horace and Tina. In 2001? she played the role of Melanie Atwood in The Saddle Club, but left after the first season, due to her participation from 2002 to 2005 in Neighbors, as the character of Summer Hoyland. She left the series in 2007 because of school. Until 2014, she was a DJ at 95,5K-ROCK. She now doesn’t act anymore but is an animal ambassador for the Geelong Animal Welfare Society and a traffic reporter for Grant Broadcasters stations in Australia

Jessie Jacobs

Jessica “Jessie” Madison Jacobs was born in Canberra (Australia) November 14th 1990. Her parents were Joanna and Brendan Jacobs and she had three brothers: Adam, Seth and Charlie. She began acting at the age of nine years old in The Sound of Music. In 2003, she played Melanie Atwood in The Saddle Club. She also appeared in Fergus McPhail, Worst Best Friends and more. At six years old, she studied ballet and classical violin and later, bass guitar. She was a Christian since she was a child. She died on 10 May 2008, at the age of seventeen, by accident. She tripped on the tracks of Cheltenham railway station in Melbourne (Australia) at the same time as a train that hit her. As she was returning from an overnight party with a friend, Jessie had a fake ID and the police had some difficulties first to identify her. She was buried in ST Kilda Cemetery in Australia. Before her death, she worked at a local bakery and was taking a break from acting to focus on school and music. She wanted to leave Sandringham College and attending Victorian College of the Arts with her brother Adam to become a musician. A year after Jessie’s death, her mother founded the Jessica Jacobs School of Drama.

Alex Marriott was born on April 25th 1984. He is known for playing Scooter in The Saddle Club in 2003, playing in The Wonderful World of Disney in 1995, Blue Heelers in 1994 and Short Cuts in 2002

Damien Bodie

Damien Bodie was born 2nd January 1985 in Melbourne (Australia). He is an actor who was educated at Sandringham Secondary College. He played in Short Cuts, Hating Alison Ashley, Crash Zone and more. But he is best known for playing Dylan Timmins in Neighbors, Rafael in The Saddle Club and Vashan in The Elephant Princess. He now lives in Los Angeles (United States). He is one of the best friends of Nikolai Nikolaeff (Drew in The Saddle Club).
