Carole Hanson

Carole is an African American girl. In the first season, she is about 12 years old. Carole is passionate of horses and is probably the one who is the most over the two other girls. When she was a child, her mother died of cancer. She was devastated but became closer to her father, the U.S Marine Colonel Mitch Hanson. She bought a horse with the money her mother left her and called him Starlight. She took a lot of her mother’s personality: she is passionate, determined and stubborn. As she loves horses more than all, she wants to have a job linked to them, but she doesn’t know which one yet. She would like to be a veterinarian like her mother, but she would also love to breed and train Thoroughbred or being a jockey. As long as she can stay close to horses and be the best rider she can. Carole is always here for her friends, boys or girls, but she can’t understand how can girls prefer flirting with boys rather than spending time with horses. Her favorite color is purple. When she is sad, she loves to play guitar, riding Starlight, or being with her friends. Carole is a Christian, we learn that when she says that they should name Delilah’s foal Samson, just like Samson and Delilah. Carole goes to Willow Creek Junior High School with Lisa.

Stevie Lake

Stevie Lake is the tomboy of the group. She dropped her name Stephanie because she didn’t liked it. Her favorite color is blue. She is not into girls’ stuff such as make up and fashion. Probably because she lives with her three brothers: her older brother, Chad, her younger brother Michael, both love to annoy Stevie and with her twin brother, Alex, older than her by six and a half minutes, as he loves to remind her, and also enjoy doing pranks and jokes. This is a family’s tradition started by Michael and Stevie loves to do the same. She is the prank girl in the club and do jokes all the time. Both her parents, Catherine and George, are lawyers and have some hectic schedules. But their children keep pranking each other. Stevie loves her brothers even if they annoy her all day long. Even with a complicated family, Stevie never forgets her love for horses. She started riding at Pine Hollow with Carole, they met there and became friends. She rode Comanche, one of the club’s horses, until she has Belle, a beautiful mare, she struggled to own. Her parents only pay her one riding lesson a week, she has to work at the barn for more lessons and also for Belle’s board. She has a funky, urban style and loves vintage clothing stores. Veronica often makes jokes about her style. Stevie is a great horse-rider and she’s better at cross country equestrianism and dressage. She developed a crush on Phil Marsten, she met him during the Mountain Trail Overnight, and so he does. They started dating after a while. She goes to Fenton Hall Academy with Veronica and lives in the same neighborhood as Lisa

Lisa Atwood

Lisa is a straight A student, she always has good marks and tries to be the best at everything she does. This part of her personality comes from her mother who controls her life. She named her daughter after Lisa’s aunt Elizabeth. Lisa started riding after her mother told her to, as she believes it should be a part of a good education. But finally, she really liked it and it turns into a passion for her. Just like her mother, she is perfectionist and has the pressure of her mother to be the best at everything. She started riding lately at Pine Hollow, but she’s really good and catch up quickly. There, she meet Carole and Stevie and befriend with them. She is loyal to her friends. She started riding Patch, the easiest horse to ride at Pine Hollow, then Prancer. She has a strong connection with horses. As well as riding lessons, she takes ballet, clarinet, art and tennis classes, as her mother wants her to be the most perfect as she can. That pressure makes her insecure and riding helps her growing from that. She is really good at Jumping. She also has some good skills at making milkshakes. In The Saddle Club, Lisa is the one who has the most crushes on boys. She has as well a little sister, Melanie, who loves to be in competition with her. Her favorite color is Orange and she goes to Willow Creek Junior High School with Carole. Lisa used to bite her nails, but because of Stevie, she stopped that to crave for jellybeans.

Veronica DiAngelo

Veronica makes herself her reputation of the spoiled girl who has everything she wants. She is the daughter of the Italian origins’ businessman Frank DiAngelo and Helen DiAngelo. As her parents give in to all her whims, she asks for the same at the club and she thinks she is better than everyone else. She is selfish, rude with everybody, mean and witty. She doesn’t take care of her horse and let Red, the stable hand, doing the job. All she seems to care about are boys and expensive riding clothes. Of course, she loves riding as well expensive Thoroughbreds. She is faking in front of some adults her real personality but can be really rude with some such as Red or Max, the owner of the club. Because of her, her horse Cobalt died. She started being interested in Phil Marsten, just because he is cute and his family owns land and breeds Arabian horses. When, after Cobalt’s death, her parents bought her a new horse, Garnet, she wantq her until Kristi tells her she might buy her off. But despite all of that, Veronica can have a nice side. She is a really good friend to Kristi and proved that multiple times. She is mean and rude just because in fact, she is lonely and wants to spend time with her parents instead of being abandoned by them. If she is mean with The Saddle Club, it’s only because she is jealous of their friendship and wishes she could be one of their members. After Cobalt’s death, she showed that she really loved him. She cares many times for people, even Lisa when Storm could have hunted her. After her father’s finances problems, she showed that she could take care of her horse and worked at the club to pay Garnet’s board and for her lessons. In the second season, she met Scooter and even if at the beginning she found him annoying, at the end they started dating. Veronica goes to Fenton Hill

Kristi Cavanaugh

Kristi is Veronica’s best friend. She knows Veronica before she started riding at Pine Hollow. It’s because of her she started riding there and because she saw a lot of cute boys in the stable hands and riders. She is known to have a lot of crushes on boys. But she is really into Red, even if he doesn’t seem to like her that way. She comes from a wealthy family. Such like her best friend, she loves fashion and expensive clothes. But she doesn’t own her own horse, she mostly rides Barq or Comanche. She has nothing against The Saddle Club, but thinks they are immature. She has a long list of sister, Chelsea Smith and share with her a necklace of a broken heart her parents gave her when she was 8 years old. Knowing as the stable flirt, Kristi prefers over all Red. Even if she doesn’t seem to be at Pine Hollow to learn how to ride, Kristi is a horse whisperer. Her favorite color is black.

Phil Marsten

Phil is a member of Pine Hollow’s rival club, Cross County Pony Club. He meets The Saddle Club during the Mountain Trail Ride and immediately has a crush on Stevie. Later, they start dating. As he met The Saddle Club, Phil starts taking lessons at Pine Hollow during Saturday. His best friend is Greg Turner and he also rides at Cross Country Pony Club. Phil’s parents have a lot of horses, mostly Arabian and Phil has sisters. He comes from a wealthy family. He takes ship Hop dancing lessons and collects stamps. Even if Veronica has a crush on him and comes from a wealthy family as well, he is not at all into her. He mostly rides his horse Teddy western-styles but can too rides him English. In the books, he meets The Saddle Club at a Horseback Riding Camp

Melanie Atwood

Melanie is Lisa’s little sister. She started riding at Pine Hollow after Lisa for the unhappiness of this one. Melanie is described as mischievous and quite cheeky. She loves to annoy her sister a lot. But in fact she is a nice girl and sees her sister as an example most of the time. At Pine Hollow, she meets Ashley, with who she becomes friend. As she comes from a family where being the best is important, Melanie is constantly in competition even with her own sister. And as she is the youngest one, she is spoiled by her mother. Melanie has always the craziest ideas and drives Ashley with her. She live to film everything around her a lot and in the second season, it’s not unexpected seeing her always with a camera. As an example, Melanie really lives Veronica as well and showed it multiple times. Melanie can be jealous of The Saddle Club and loves to spy on Lisa and tell everything to their mother. Despite all of that, Lisa loves her sister. Melanie has a thing in being always in competition with everyone. According to her, singing is in her family’s genes. Her favorite color is Pink. In the books, she is only Lisa’s half sister and her name is Lily.

Ashley Taylor

Ashley is Melanie’s best friend but rides since more time than her. She has a sister. Her favorite color is Green. She loves to take challenges and that’s why she adores Melanie’s personality. Ashley is smart and intrigued, caring and always here for her friends. She is a really nice girl who makes her parents surprised when she asked to take riding lessons. She also dance and sing. At Pine Hollow, she is quite shy but when Melanie is around, she is always up to gain some money or notoriety or beat some challenges. She rides Dime or Comanche mostly. She is a passionate of ponies. She has a simple style and like Lisa, loves to wear ribbons in her hair

Red O’Malley

Red is originated from Ireland. He is the main stable hand at Pine Hollow and the one in who Max trusts the most. He is only 17 but excels in what he is doing. As his skills are amazing and his good looking, a lot of girls at the club have a crush on him. But Veronica uses him to take care of her horse even if he already has a lot of work to do. When he was younger, he accidentally burned the stables of his club Greenwood and his favorite horse, Jockey died. Jockey would have done anything for him and Red said that he let him done in return. Max was the only one who let him a chance by offered him a job at Pine Hollow. Red’s riding team was training for the nationals when he blew it one of the trials. His trainer and he got into a fight. At Pine Hollow, he grew up and even got his instructor credibility. He loves Max and Mrs Reg ans he’s so thankful for his job. He dates Dorothée when she was at Pine Hollow. He plays guitar also with his friend Jake.

Max Regnery

Max is the owner of Pine Hollow. He manages it with his mother, Mrs Reg. Max loves his horses and students. But sometimes he can be really strict. He only allows his students to ride if they have good marks and help in the club. Despite that, Max is a parental figure at the club and he is also generous. When he was younger, he won many prizes and competition. He has amazing skills at riding. At his club, he meets Deborah Hale, a local journalist who doesn’t like horses at all. But they get married. In season 2, Max needs to go to France and let the club under the control of his cousin, Drew. His favorite horse is Barq, a horse his mother bought him when he was about to be putting down. Max would do anything for his club and his horses

Deborah Hale

Deborah is a journalist and reporter at The Daily News, the local newspaper at Willow Creek. Before, she lived in a big city. She always preferred the city over the campaign and before, she hated horses. She comes to Pine Hollow to interview Skye Ransom while he is filming a movie. There, she meets Max, the owner of the club. They both have a crush on each other and start dating. With him, her hatred for horses disappears and she even starts riding. She changes her cute and fashion outfits for simple jeans and T-shirts. Deborah is lovely, nice and funny. She has a great development through the series. She always wanted to play guitar. She marries Max and goes with him to France in the second season.

Elizabeth Regnery

Mrs Reg is Max’s mother and the owner of Pine Hollow with her son. She used to be an Olympic rider until she has a hip replacement surgery. But she stills ride sometimes not at the level she was but she stills loving it. She is like the mom of the students at Pine Hollow and always has some good advices and old home remedies. She loves Max’s and Deborah’s relationship. She is nice and patient with everyone and will always be there for people. She is really calm and will never scream or get angry

Scooter

Brian Mulcahy, must known as Scooter, is introduced in season two. He works at JB’s the bar where the students of Pine Hollow love to go to share some milkshakes after the lessons. Everyone loves Scooter at the club. He is funny, nice and always here to help. But mostly it’s because he can have something in return. Plus, he helps a lot at Pine Hollow during his spare time. He installs a computer system around the club. He absolutely loves computers and videos games because he believes that those machines can think for you. He dreams about invented a program that will make him wealthy and famous with a lot of fast cars. Scooter is also a really good friend of The Saddle Club and becomes their manager as the girls start to be also a band. He tries multiple times to have contracts for them even if sometimes it’s a fail. As it, he can gain money and more people come to JB’s. Even if he has a happy-go-lucky nature, Scooter is also here to give some advices and tries to reason people especially Veronica. He has a rush on her and shows it many times. At the end of the second season, they share a kiss. Scooter is from Dublin in Ireland. And surprisingly, he is really wealthy because his father owns half of the town and three castles. Their parents still live there while Scooter is in Willow Creek.

Dorothée Doutey

Dorothée is only seventeen years old but already a Junior Champion. She is from Paris in France. She and her horse Hugo had a fatal accident while jumping during a competition. Dorothée was paralysed during many months and still has some problems. She didn’t wanted to ride again after that. She left the competition and almost abandoned her horse. Her parents decided to send her and Hugo to Pine Hollow to recover. But Dorothée stills so afraid of Hugo and the accident. At Pine Hollow, she gives some lessons at the students but she is quite authoritative. She still doesn’t want to ride again. She meets Red and is really attracted to him. They share a kiss. At the club, with the trust of everyone and Hugo’s she starts riding again and affronts her fear. After that, she has to leave Pine Hollow because she is selected to ride for France during the Olympics

Drew Regnery

Drew is Max’s cousin. His real name is Andrew but everyone calls him Drew. He is introduced in the second season when Max goes to France and he takes the responsibilities of Pine Hollow. Drew has a degree of business and that’s why Max asked him to run the club while he’s absent. He really likes horses and learned how to ride on Pepper. To save the club, he does some partnerships with Veronica’s father, putting in on a more business way. Drew and Bob Collin know each other since they were kids but Dew always thought he was a bit nuts. Drew is human, cheerful, stern with a soft side. He always tries to find a solution to a problem. Veronica and Kristi had first a crush on him. For a long time, Drew had a bad shoulder so, he has a chiropractor in the city, a bit far from Pine Hollow. At the club, everyone loves him.

Mitch Hanson

Colonel Hanson is Carole’s father. He is known to be really nice and he’s like a friend to Carole since she lists her mother. He loved his wife more than all and was very affected by her death. Even if Mitch can seem like the « cool father », he can also be strict but just want the best for his daughter. He works in the US Marine Army, so he and Carole have to move all the time. Every time Stevie calls Carole, she and Mitch share a lot of jokes during hours

Dr Karen Skye Hanson

Karen Hanson is Carole’s mother and Mitch’s late wife. She died when her daughter was six years old. She was a veterinarian and was passionate about her job. Carole promised to be also a vet when she was five. Karen died from cancer. She was stubborn, determined and passionate and so is her daughter. She was also interested in gardening because she loved children. She loved her daughter more than all and was so nice and patient with her. When she graduated from vet school, her mom gave her a vet kit. When Karen died, her husband gave it to Carole. According to Dr Judy Barker, she was one of the best vets she has seen. She was loved and respected by everyone.

Eleanor Atwood

Mrs Atwood is Lisa’s and Melanie’s mother. She is overprotective with her daughters. As she thinks she knows what is the best for them, she controls their lives. She hates horses but thinks horse riding is a must-known for a good girl. That’s why she enrolls Lisa, then Melanie at Pine Hollow. Mrs Atwood admires the DiAngelos because of their statut at Willow Creek and she believes Veronica is charming. She lives for competition and wishes she could be in the elite society even if her family and her aren’t in the poor social class. She doesn’t really like Carole and Stevie and she would prefer that Lisa be friends with Veronica. At the first day of Lisa at Pine Hollow, she almost crushed Carole and Stevie. She puts school and good marks before all and doesn’t hesitate to take radical decisions if her daughters don’t follow this rule. She also dresses them in designer. She is as worse as a mare with her first goal and will make choices for Lisa without asking her

Sam

Sam is a student at Pine Hollow. He is introduced in the first season. He is almost always with his best friend Megan. He doesn’t really like Veronica and blames himself for Cobalt’s death because he was the one who challenged Veronica. He can be shy but can also reply to Veronica when she is too mean. His favorite color is Grey. At the club, he rides Pepper and Comanche.

Megan

Megan is a student at Pine Hollow and Sam’s best friend. Also like him, she doesn’t like Veronica and can let it know. She is really nice and The Saddle Club likes her. She is a simple horse that prefers horses over fashion. She seems always happy. When he was at Pine Hollow for the Western Weekend, she had a crush on John Brightstar. Megan’s favorite color is Pink

Judy Barker

Dr Judy Barker is the vet of Pine Hollow. She is really professional, patient and caring: she takes care of Pine Hollow’s horses. She knew Carole’s mother and thinks she was one of the best vets she has ever seen. When she was five, she wanted to be a cat, and promised to be a vet a year later of take care of animals. In the books, her husband is Alan Barker, her assistant.

Murray Richards

Murray is Whitney’s and Private’s son. His dad is dead. When his mom and Carole’s dad started dating, Carole couldn’t stand him at first because he was mean to her. All they have in commun is their passion for horses. But sometimes this isn’t enough. Murray had some problems after his father’s death. His father had gambling problems. He needed to give a lot of money at some guys, so Murray owed some thugs money to pay off his dad debts. As he couldn’t giving them all the money back, he needed helping them kidnap Veronica’s horse Garnet. But Carole helped him get off trouble. He was at first a real brat but it was because of his father’s death and the fact that his mother was dating another man

Frank DiAngelo

Mr DiAngelo is Veronica’s father. He is married to Helen DiAngelo. He is a rich and famous businessman. But he seems to not really care to his daughter and lets her mostly alone but spoils her in return. In the second season, he makes some bad investments and loses his fortune so he tries to gain it again as he can.

Helen DiAngelo

Mrs DiAngelo is Veronica’s mother and Frank’s wife. Like her husband, she seems not to really care about her daughter. She is mostly into work and has often lunch or business meetings with her co-workers. She also spoils Veronica and gives in to all her whims because she thinks that way, she will not feel alone

Whitney Richards

Mrs Richards is Murray’s mother. When her husband, Private, passed away, she lived alone with her son and tried to give him a life as good as she could. She also dated Mitch Hanson during a while.

Dee Marsten

Mrs Marsten is Phil’s mother. She is a nice woman who owns a lot of Arabian horses such as Nomad. She is wealthy but doesn’t talk about it a lot. She does a lot of things for her son. She really likes The Saddle Club and invites them to her family’s barbecue

Jake

Jake is Red’s best friend. He is introduced in the first season when he comes to visit Red at Pine Hollow. He is kinda lazy and doesn’t like horses that much. He prefers music and loves to play guitar. He has also good advices to give when it comes to girls and helps Phil about it. He helps Red during a while at Pine Hollow as a stable hand. He and Red have a group and Jake thinks he could be more invested in it. Veronica has a big crush on him but Jake is more into Deborah, who is dating Max. He is funny and clumsy. Jake make multiple mistakes at the club but he leaves Pine Hollow when he causes a barn fire at the stables.

Tina

Tina is Stevie’s old best friend. She and her family left Willow Creek a few years ago. She returns to the city for a week and go to Stevie’s. Tina has changed a lot since the last time Stevie saw her. Back to this time, she was simple and loved horses. Now she is more into fashion and boys, has a piercing and says that horses smell bad. She thinks Max is really attractive and like to spend time at the mall with Kristi when she didn’t liked her before. But at the end, Tina still likes horses a bit and she is a nice girl

Andrea Barry

Andrea is one of Carole’s rival. This one is jealous of her because she is also an excellent rider. But they have similar lives because she and her mother move around all the time just like Carole and her dad. She has her own horse, Doc. They have been in a lot of horses’ shows. During a competition that takes place at Pine Hollow, she forgets the order of passages and Carole helps her. She is really nice but likes a bit to show she knows a lot about horses.

Bud

Bud is a friend of the Regnery family and a jack of all trades. He is a really nice old man who likes to help. He gets a job as a consultant at Cross Country. He also moves into Mr Loweman’s cottage at Miner’s Creek. As he is alone, he decides to take Pepper with him when this one gets too old to work, so they can both have some company

Beth Elliot

Beth is Jenna’s mother. She is overprotective because of the fact that her daughter is blind. She doesn’t accept the fact that Jenna wants to ride. She thinks that this is too dangerous due to her blindness and Beth also had an accident when she was around her 20s and left her with a limp. That’s why she is afraid of horses but she didn’t talk about that to her daughter. She has an accident when Barq runs away with her and she falls off. As she sees her daughter was able to rescue her, Beth allows her to ride if she wants.

Jenna Elliot

Jenna is a young blind girl who comes at Pine Hollow for a day with her class of the Jarvis School for the Blind and Visually Impaired. She discovers a passion for horses even if she is a bit afraid of them due to her mother. She asks The Saddle Club to teach her how to ride on Eddie, a pony of the club that she really likes. But she knows her mother doesn’t want her to ride. Jenna is determined when it comes to something she really likes. She also develops her other senses a lot due to her blindness. She has a crush on Liam, who also develops one for her and they plan to go to the cinema together

Mrs Chambers

Mrs Chambers is Prancer’s potential new owner when Max wants to sell her. She is more into business than carrying for horses and thinks that’s a waste of time to get attached to them.

Bill Roth

Bill works and owns the Bank. He is a friend of the Regnerys. He took riding lessons when he was a kid. He tries to help the Regnerys with their money’s problems but he also has to do his job and almost gets Pine Hollow closed when they can’t pay. He owns a farm close to Pine Hollow and gives Storm a new home

Danny

Danny is a new student at Pine Hollow during the second season. He is about 11 years old and rides Comanche.

Neville Cowlin

Neville comes to Pine Hollow after being fired of his old one. He is a brat son and he is mean and bad. He doesn’t like gypsies and throws Rafael’s guitar into the river. Neville pushes his horse too hard without carrying. He gets kicked out of Pine Hollow

Bob Cowlin

Bob is Neville’s father. He is a farmer who lives not far from Pine Hollow. He is an enemy of the Regnerys but puts his son at the club after he gets fired of his old one. He owns Lady-Louise, a beautiful mate but he is overprotective of her. He thinks she is better than the horses at Pine Hollow and even more than Diablo because he is a gypsy’s horse and accuses his owner of stealing Lady-Louise when she disappears and goes at Pine Hollow to make a scene.

Greg Turner

Greg is a student at Cross County Pony Club. His best friend is Phil. He owns a beautiful horse, Atlas. Greg is alone because his parents are divorced. His mother spend her time with his stepfather and their baby. His father is always focused on work. During the Mystery Weekend, to get his father’s attention, as this one is a sponsor, Greg steals Veronica’s, Ashley’s, and his own tack. He lets The Saddle Club takes his responsibilities until the truth gets discovered. In the books, his name is A.J McDonnell.

Mr Turner

Mr Turner is Greg’s father. He seems to don’t care about his son and is always focused on his work. He is on his phone every time even when Greg is trying to talk to him. But he realizes his mistake when he learns that Greg is the tack’s thief during the Mystery Weekend, as he was one of the sponsors

Nia

Nia is a member of the Cross Country Pony Club, who participates at The Mystery Weekend. She is quite grumpy but she is a good friend of Phil’s and Greg’s. She doesn’t seem really friendly. According to Greg, she has the longest bad mood in the history. She helps Phil hide Nickel during the Mystery Weekend. She is mean to Veronica and denounces Carole, Stevie and Lisa for breaking a few rules.

Chelsea Owens

Chelsea was Belle’s owner before this one is owned by Stevie. When she finds out that Stevie has rescue her horse, originally called Blackie, she goes to Pine Hollow to take her back. Stevie doesn’t want to but but has to do it. A lot of Chelsea’s horses run away from her. She is running an insurance scam after a lot of her horses are missing. Blackie is afraid of her. After she runs away a second time, the day after Chelsea gets her back, she decides to give her to Stevie, as she thinks they belong together

David

David puts his horse at Pine Hollow for a while when his parents rebuild their barn. His best friend is Shane. He accidentally insults Lisa’s jacket and throws mature on it. Lisa gets mad and angry. As David has a geek style, Carole decides to give him a make over, for asking Lisa to be his dance for the dance ball organized at Pine Hollow. During this make over, David and Carole get a crush on each other. But he asks Lisa as he knows that’s why Carole wants. Carole and Lisa get into a fight for him and this almost ruined their friendship. At the end of the dance night, David and Carole share a kiss. David is clumsy, shy, nice and loves to smile.

Shane is David’s best friend. He goes to the same school as Lisa and Carole and sits behind Carole in history. He is shy but because of Carole, he goes to the dance ball with Megan

David McLeod

Mr McLeod is Prancers old owner. He owns a lot of race horses that he trains. Carole used to exercise his horses for him. He is a businessman who cares more about money than his horses. When Prancer gets her tendon’s problem again, he wants to send her to the slaughter house because for him, treat her is a waste of time and money. When The Saddle Club sneaks into his stables to get Prancer and hide her, McLeod is furious. He is informed by Dr Judy Barker after Prancer gets colic. He threatens The Saddle Club to charge them with trespassing and cruelty to animals when he is the one who is responsible. As Max buys him Prancer, he retires his charges. He is from Scotland. In the books, McLeod care more than all to the well being of his horses.

Chelsea Smith

Chelsea is Kristi’s lost half sister. She is about 25 years old. She has a funky style with some pink and blue strands in her hair. As she rides motorcycles, she loves to wear leather jackets. She has short hair, dark and pronounced makeup, she is a sort of a tomboy. He dad gave her a letter where he explains that she has a little sister, with a half of a broken heart necklace, saying that her sister might have the other half. Chelsea is an art student and comes to Pine Hollow to find her sister and draws the horses there. Chelsea has a motorcycle accident while running off of Pine Hollow but still alive. She doesn’t hesitate to look at the students files in Max’s office, which proves that she is determined, focused and impulsive sometimes

Rafael

Rafael is a Gypsy who lives with his mother, Carmina. He saves Prancer and Lisa and this one starts to have a crush on him. Rafael is the kind of boy of every girl’s dream: he is gorgeous, mysterious, plays guitar, he is nice and an excellent rider who has a passion and comprehension for horses. He starts working at Pine Hollow as a stable hand. Before, he and his mother worked at the circus as she read fortune. His father ran was from the circus and let him and his mother alone. He is the owner of a beautiful stallion, Diablo, but he lets him be free and coming back when he wants. Rafael always wants to help people. He gets by with his correspondence lessons. He develops a crush on Lisa and they share a kiss. He is hated by Neville and his father, Bob, who think that he stole their mare Lady-Louise. He has to sell Diablo and leave Pine Hollow. He now works at the Sweet Water Fun Park in Sweet Water with his mom and goes to school like he always wanted to.

Carmina

Carmina is Rafael’s mother. She lives alone with her son since Rafael’s father left them. She is knows as Madame Carmina,a fortune teller in the circus. She doesn’t trust banks and keep her money in a false button in Rafael’s guitar case. When the guitar is stealing, she and her son have to leave and find another job. She doesn’t like to lead anyone that she can’t really see into the future. She now works at Sweet Water Fun Park after leaving the circus

Liam O’Malley

Liam is Red’s cousin. He is 14 years old. At first, Liam is a liar in who you can’t trust. He runs away from home and hides in Pine Hollow, after his cousin emails him, telling him how good the club is. Liam lives in Ridgman Crossing with his parents, Karen and Colin O’Malley, Red’s aunt and uncle. At Pine Hollow, he lies to everyone about everything. He saves Lisa’s life when she has Acute Appendicitis, when nobody trusts him anymore. After this story, Liam grows up and gets some maturity. He becomes friend with Phil and Scooter. He loves competition and making jokes. During the competition between boys and girls, with The Saddle Club, Liam and Scooter love to terrify the girls but Liam injured himself when the hut in the woods falls on him. He starts developing a crush on Jenna Elliot and asks her to go to a movie with him.

Ethan Lowell Jr

Ethan is a race horse trainer who comes to Pine Hollow to train Windsong for Veronica, as a favor from Mr DiAngelo. He is the son of late Ethan Lowell Sir, the famous jockey. Ethan Jr is a good jockey but has a lot of pressure by Mr DiAngelo and his father’s celebrity. He makes a lot of mistakes with Windsong and uses herbal remedies on him. Carole assists him while he is at Pine Hollow, but he just gets angry at her all the time. Because of the pressure, Ethan is not enough patient when he is training horses. He is not really confident with himself. He doesn’t do anything after Windsong’s hives last for three days. But Ethan is a good guy who is just too much pressed by his job. His father dated Mrs Reg when they were young

Tracey

Tracey is a new rider at Pine Hollow and becomes friend with Melanie and Ashley. But Melanie starts to spend all her time with her instead of Ashley and the girls argue. Tracey offers to Melanie to go to the Water Park with her but at the last moment, she can’t due to they’re not enough room in the car. Tracey is quite hypocritical and loves more fashion and attention than horses.

Sarah is a books’ collector. She loves old and rare books. She gets mad after Carole doesn’t want to sell her the Atlas that worth $8,000 and leaves furious as she was ready to do anything to own this book

Nick is a sexist new student at the club. He has to ride Penny. He thinks boys are better than girls. During a competition boys vs girls, Ashley and Melanie try to cheat by changing Penny’s girth with Dime’s one. But he wins the competition and becomes friend with the girl by saying they were great.

Gus

Gus works at Persia 8. He delivers horses at Pony Clubs. When he has to deliver Hugo, he switches him with another horse, because Hugo is worth a lot of money. But cheating is revealed and The Saddle Club and Phil discover the truth. When they come to get Hugo back, Gus tries to keep him but he is alone in front of four people and horses. He has to give back Hugo, that he called Rocky to keep him and leaves, after the horse scares him

Dr George Whiteside

Dr Whiteside is the new and young emergency vet. He is the replacement for Dr. Judy Barker's replacement. He is a calm man. The Saddle Club Valls him when Belle starts to act strangely. He comes to Pine Hollow. As he is really gorgeous, Veronica and Kristi have a crush on him. Dr Whiteside thinks Belle is just neglected by Stevie and needs more exercise. Veronica and Kristi call him back and fake Garnet’s sickness just to see him again. As Belle is more sick, Carole is rude to Dr Whiteside. He leaves Pine Hollow but as he is the only vet here, Carole does everything to bring him back. He finally finds what’s wrong with Belle and saves her, even if the operation is difficult for him, as he is a new vet. He loves animals and doesn’t want to see them suffer.

Skye Ransom

Skye Ransom is a famous gorgeous celebrity. He acts in many movies and The Saddle Club adores him. He comes to Pine Hollow when a movie is going to be filming there as he is the star. But in fact he doesn’t know how to ride and is a bit afraid. He can’t even jump an obstacle. The Saddle Club helps him or he might get fired. Even if he is a celebrity, in fact he is not confident and a bit shy. He is a good guy. He loves to hanging out with his friends. Skye Ransom is just his scene name, his real name is Bruce . He really likes Lisa and thinks she is makes amazing milkshakes. Before leaving Pine Hollow, he kisses her on the cheek

John Brightstar

John is the son of Bart Brightstar, the owner of Brightstar’s Western Rodeo. Max helps John’s father to organise the Western Weekend at Pine Hollow after a tractor tools on him and helps John. John is first introduced as a handsome and cute cowboy who is confident and knows everything about rodeo. But it’s all an act for the Western Weekend. In reality, John is a geek. He loves air drums, camping, making jokes and doesn’t eat like a gentleman. Kristi and Megan both have a crush on him but Kristi discovers how he really is: a kid. John tells Kristi he only sees her as a friend and that he likes Megan. He and Megan keep contact before he leaves Pine Hollow after the Western Weekend.

Jerry is a tv producer who wants to make an emission about Kristi and her horse whisperer talent. He dated Deborah before. During his time at Pine Hollow, he remembers her every detail of their life together and miss it. He is a city man and he is always focused on his job.
